We are proud to announce that our honorees for this year are Anthony Yoseloff and Ilana Goldman, who have provided their expertise and resources as LEDA Board members for nearly a decade. During our event, they will participate in a conversation led by Tony Marx, a long-time LEDA supporter and President & CEO of the New York Public Library, about their work to advance access to education and cultivating a life-long practice of philanthropy. Anthony A. Yoseloff (Tony) is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, a global institutional investment management firm based in New York with approximately $37 billion in assets under management. He joined the Firm in 1999. Tony is a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the investment committee of The New York Public Library, a member of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chair of the investment committee at New York-Presbyterian, and a member of the Board of Directors of PRINCO, the investment manager of the Princeton University endowment. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Tony received a J.D. from Columbia Law School and an M.B.A. from the Columbia Graduate School of Business Administration in 1999. He earned an A.B., cum laude, from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University in 1996.
Ilana Goldman is a public service leader, with expertise in change management, entrepreneurial ventures, organizational strategy, and fundraising. With over 30 years of experience starting, growing, running, and turning around nonprofits and leading political campaigns at the local and federal levels, she has had the privilege of working for change on a range of policy issues. Ilana consults for both the private and public service sectors across issues from e-government to socially responsible business, and her work has been recognized in multiple national media outlets. Ilana is a former United Nations Fellow, Salzburg Global Fellow, and serves on several boards; she is particularly proud of her work as the Chair of the Board of Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA).
Ilana holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and a Master of Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Boston University.
